WHAT ARE YOUR QUALITY STANDARDS?

We print our business cards to the highest quality standards in the industry. All cards are printed on thick 16 and 18 point stocks. Other business card companies commonly use thin card stocks that range from 8 points to 12 points thick. In addition to thickness there are many other factors that go into manufacturing high quality business cards.

We offer several high quality protective finishes for your business cards. The style of business card you choose should only be based on your personal preference. All our stocks and finishes print bright and vibrant. These are the business card finishes we offer:

High Gloss Front & Back
Several Specialty Stocks and Coatings available for large customers.

The Uncoated stock and the Standard Gloss stock can both be written on with a pen, the Super Gloss UV stock cannot be written on with a pen.

All of our cards are printed on high-end printing presses. No copiers or inkjet printing is ever used. All of our cards are printed and coated to ensure maximum protection against offsetting (the ink rubbing off from one card to another) and wear and tear.

Can I Add Printing To The Back Of The Card?

Yes. We offer one-color to four-color back printing. You'll see this option as you go through the purchasing process.

Can My Business Card Bleed Off The Edge Of The Paper?

Yes. If you are uploading your business card create a 1/8-inch bleed on all four sides of your business card and add it to the 3 1/2" x 2" (standard business card dimension) template used. Make sure your text is within the 3 1/2" x 2" box to assure the words aren't cut off. If you would like us to set the bleeds for you, just send us an e-mail once your card has been ordered.

How Many Colors Can I Use ?

Your choice of colors is unlimited. Once you've made your color choices, please send your files in CMYK. This is the best choice for four-color process printing. If you design your business card with PMS colors, a four-color equivalent will be substituted, matching your color choices as closely as possible.

Do you offer rounded corners?

Yes, we offer rounded corners. While you are creating your business card you will be asked if you would like to add rounded corners.

We offer three options for ordering cards: Uploading Your Files, Online Design, and Online Business Card Management.

Do You Design Business Cards?

If you need to have your business card designed, please see our design option button for a list of design possibilities. If you have a request that is not available on our site, Contact us with your request.

How Do I Send My Files To Be Printed?

You must already have your business card designed and ready to print. If you need help designing your business card, you can use our Design Online or your own graphics applications. Please see our Design Tips page for advice on how to set up a card.
Go to the Upload Button to upload your file.
Select all files for the front and back of a single card design. If you are ordering multiple individual cards, please use a separate upload for each. This allows us to know the quantity, shipping address and other options for each particular individual.
Click "upload" and allow the browser time to receive the file. Small files will take minutes while large files will take longer, depending on your connection speed.
After upload is complete, it will ask for the "name" on the design and the number of sides you have uploaded. At this point, you may see a preview of the uploaded file.
Clicking "Cards OK, Continue" will take you to the shopping cart. Here you will be able to use the online designer to add a backer to your card, if you wish. This is also where you will select the printing quantity, shipping destination(s) and pay for your cards.

Will I Receive A Proof?

No proof will be sent unless you request it. Please thoroughly proof your order online before sending it for printing. We suggest printing your card on your printer to proof it for typos. The best way to proof your card is to read it from right to left to catch errors or omissions.Once your order is submitted it will go into production for printing. If you would like a proof Contact us. We will gladly provide one for you.

Please ensure you have the latest version of your browser software installed.

What Types Of Files Can Be Sent?

We accept ALL file types.

We do however prefer: Illustrator, Photoshop, EPS, AI or PDF files.

Illustrator files - Please convert your text to outline and avoid transparencies.

PDF files - Please convert your text to outline and avoid transparencies.

Photoshop files - Please flatten your file & save as a TIFF file. Please make sure that the resolution is set at a minimum of 300 dpi. Please convert the color mode to CMYK for 4-color processing.

How Much Is Shipping?

Our shipping fees follow the USPS, FedEx and UPS published rates. Pricing will be quoted based on weight of your package and ship to zip code. Ground, 2^nd Day Air, 3 Day Select and Overnight shipping options are available at check out.

How Much Is Shipping Outside The USA?

Overseas shipping can be expensive. Please note the price before ordering. You may incur customs charges (and/or) duty fees per your country's import rules. Color Card Administrator does not know what they will charge in advance. Please contact your country's customs rules for import charges. We cannot be held responsible for any customs fees, import duties or delays at customs due to import regulations or taxes for any international orders.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Business Cards?

Most orders ship within 24 to 48 hours Monday thru Friday as long as your order is in by 12pm Pacific Standard Time. Weekend Orders go into production on Monday and ship on Tuesday.

We offer a 100% quality guarantee regarding the actual printing, coating, and cutting of your business cards. If your business cards have a physical manufacturing error we will reprint them free of charge. We are not responsible for grammar or typos on your business cards.

If your cards are reprinted due to an error in print quality you may not make any changes to the information on the card. The cards will be reprinted with the exact same information. We do not offer cash refunds for any reason. If you have any design or text changes you will have to pay the original cost to reprint them.

CCA was created in October 2000 as a subsidiary of a large printing company located in San Diego, CA. It launched its first website PrintBusinessCards.com in the same year. In August 2002 CCA became an independent corporation and continues to expand its presence on the Internet each year.
